Summer experiences

Experience the summer to the fullest. With the Sommercard, our guests receive countless experiences free of charge! Every day a new adventure awaits you on the doorstep. The Schwammerlweg (mushroom trail) and the Märchenweg (fairytale trail) around the house are particularly fascinating for our younger guests. A descent with the mountain go-kart on the Hochwurzen will give you action and a certain adrenaline kick.

Winter dreams

Winter is literally "just around the corner". Ski-In & Ski-Out is what we call it when you strap on your skis in front of the house and start skiing. Ski tours can also be easily started right outside the front door. The toboggan run of the Hochwurzen is in the immediate vicinity and with 2 hp on the horse-drawn carriage you can experience the winter landscape in a particularly romantic way.

Cosy stop

The Jagastüberl is a 5-minute walk from us and convinces with its authentic, fresh cuisine. The terrace is the ideal place to enjoy the sun. The Tauernalm - at the Hochwurzen gondola station is also known for its wonderful sun terrace and cooks Styrian delicacies from midday to evening. The Tauernalm also has a good selection for special diets such as vegan or gluten-free. The view from the Hochwurzenhütte is pure pleasure! Located directly at the mountain station, the kitchen convinces with fresh and regional ingredients and is known for its home cooking.
